Bembridge nurdle hunt- survey of plastic pellets

Come and join us to survey the numbers of plastic pellets-nurdles on the beach. These pellets escape from container spills and factories and pollute our seas and coast. Data helps push for better policy to prevent pellet loss.

About the event
Come along and join us for a nurdle hunt.
Last year we held the first IOW meeting about nurdles with relevant officials to bring attention to the issue of nurdle pollution on our shores with another in the planning.
On the day though we will be surveying the beach to collect data on the number of nurdles we find . If you have a bit of patience and a keen eye then please come and help us.
What to bring:
Suitable layers
Knee pads , waterproof trousers or something waterproof to kneel on useful.
