Schools & Youth groups

Are you a local Isle of Wight school or youth group? Find out how you can get children and young people connected to the coast!

Workshops/activities

We feel that working with young people is essential to the future of our oceans. We run activities and workshops for children and young people to raise awareness of marine pollution and why the ocean is important to our daily lives! We also run rock pooling sessions for small groups of 3-4 children.

Our sessions are run by volunteers and we ask that you make a donation or fundraise.

The feedback has been super. Classes and staff really enjoyed your session. One student said 'Planet aware taught us how we can keep our beaches clean and save the environment for our future!'

Thank you so much for your time and expertise on the trip to Ventnor beach. The pupils learned so much about sea conservation and taking care of our planet. They really enjoyed the beach clean and are still talking about it and all that they learned. I would highly recommend it to other schools.

Ocean Challenge!

Our Ocean Challenge is a great way for children to engage with the coast and think about how it impacts their daily lives as well as learn about the issues that it faces.

Get in touch if you would like us to support your school/group to complete these challenges or would like to access the challenge sheet.
