Nurdle hunt ( plastic pellet) at Brook

Come and meet us at Brook and we will head off for a nurdle hunt.

Learn a little more about these pesky polluting plastic pellets - why they are a problem and why counting them can help push for changes in national and global policy.

It's sad but strangely good fun looking for these pellets! If you like finding sea glass this is definitely something you'll be good at!

After a quick talk we will do a timed survey and possibly two along the beach here.

Please bring protective gloves, an old sieve and a plastic pot if you have them- you might want a kneel mat- we have spares so don't worry.

Please wear suitable layers depending on the weather.
